Job description:
● 6-8 years of experience in data engineering.
● Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience building them with large-scale, complex datasets using the distributed computing technologies.
● Strong data modeling skills with solid knowledge of various industry standards such as dimensional modeling, star schemas etc.
● Extremely proficient in writing performant SQL working with large data volumes.
● Experience designing and operating very large Datalake/Data Warehouses
● Experience with scripting for automation - Python
● Good to have experience working on Azure/AWS stack

Key Requirements:
● Must have excellent knowledge of Advanced SQL working with large data sets – Writing complex queries, performance optimization, troubleshooting etc.
● Must have knowledge on Apache Spark (PySpark, SparkSQL, Spark Streaming).
● Should be proficient with Python language.
● Proficient in Databricks for big data processing and analysis, with experience in optimization and scalability.
● Good to have knowledge working with Orchestration tool such as Jenkins, Apache Airflow etc
● Good to have knowledge working with Visualization tool such as PowerBI.
● Good to have knowledge of retail system - POS (Transaction), Products, Customer, Inventory.
