▪ Minimum 3 Years relevant work experience in Cloud Services

Desirable:

▪ Certification in AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud Services and Solution

ii) Experience 3 to 6 years

Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

Cloud Architect: Design, implement, and manage Cloud platform to help  fulfill functionality of Business applications securely Responsibilities:

▪ Responsible to craft and develop cloud solutions, translating

business requirements into scalable, flexible, and secure cloud architectures.

▪ Lead the creation of technical content, architecture

patterns/models; create proofs of concepts, test-plans, test

cases, and user-guides.

▪ Develop platform comparisons, detailed cloud platforms

comparatives and technical roadmaps for future cloud

implementations.

▪ Define cloud strategy considering application migration, cost

optimization, security, application integration across clouds &

on-premise.

▪ Clarify architectural issues (if necessary, escalate violations via

architecture-violations-process) and deliver Solution Design

document.

▪ Develop appropriate solutions in context of multi cloud

infrastructure space.

▪ Responsible for championing and embedding Security by

Design and Privacy by Design in projects, and to ensure that the

appropriate design decisions are made, documented, and implemented.

▪ Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to resolve and provide

resolution as per deadline.

 

Technical/ Functional:

▪ Know-how on Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture related to Cloud

Instances, Cloud Storage, VPC, Autoscaling, Security Groups,

Cloud watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation

▪ Good understanding of Cloud Security controls, tools, and

standards

▪ Know how to architect for scale, resiliency, reliability, security,

and performance.

▪ System Integration skill and knowledge of system architecture,

protocols, data formats, and integration patterns.

▪ Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working

out a plan for data management that is aligned with MSIL data

strategy.

▪ Experience in cloud market, competitive dynamics, and cloud

computing, (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms,

data).

▪ Experience in network infrastructure, security, and application

development.

▪ Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing

highly distributed global cloud-based systems.

▪ Good experience in services like API Gateway, API

Management, Application Integration, IAM etc.

▪ Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting,

routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancer,

Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.

▪ Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for

automation of build tasks.

▪ Experience on Docker, Kubernetes, and troubleshooting Cluster

issues.

Desired but not essential:

▪ Good knowledge and Expertise on IBM Redhat Linux

commands

▪ Experience with modern cloud-native deployment techniques

such as DevOps and/or DevSecOps

▪ AWS/Azure/IBM/GCP Solution Architect Level Certification

 

Behavioral

▪ Strong stakeholder management skills: the role requires pro-

active communication and an ability to work closely with other

members in project teams and other disciplines in architecture.

▪ Strong communication skills: the role requires effective written

and verbal communications. Including the ability to communicate

architectural viewpoints and decisions using content appropriate

for the audience.

▪ Study industry trends (global and domestic) and apply it in work

area.
